Zoe Trope

The Village Voice runs another three-question interview, this time with young memoirist Zoe Trope. One third of the questions in this one are about the author’s “PoMosexuality,” which in my day was called “bisexuality,” and in the case of high school girls like Trope often was called, simply, “uncertainty.”

Recently I read the first forty or so pages of Trope’s book and found it generally banal and disorganized, with flashes of smart, funny phrasing. But then, we are getting older. Soon I’ll be posting exclusively about steaming beverages and my confusion over the euro.
