Wired Updates Style

In a “stylistic reality check,” Wired News has decided it’s “web” not “Web,” “net” not “Net,” and “internet” not “Internet.” Copy Chief Tony Long says “Why? The simple answer is because there is no earthly reason to capitalize any of these words. Actually, there never was.” No kidding.

I can’t tell if they’re still calling email “e-mail” but if they are, it can’t last that much longer now that this Tony Long fellow has come to his senses.
