It has been raining for days. Okay, Monday was sunny, but it was, after all, Monday. A mere 24 hours of tantalizing sunlight after a weekend of weather fit for the climax of a Nathaniel Hawthorne story.

If the sun doesn’t come out soon, I’m going to fling myself into the Hudson River.*
