The Missouri Review has published “The Swan,” by Tennessee Williams.

The introduction says the story fed into The Glass Menagerie and “was written when Thomas Lanier Williams, age twenty-eight, had just reinvented himself as ‘Tennessee.'” (Thanks to Donnie for the link.)
