A new issue of Book Forum is out, under new management.

The U.S. is threatening to fine or shut down any Iraqi publications that “incite violence or endanger the security of coalition troops or any ethnic or religious group.” In support of its position, the U.S. points to, among other things, the fact that one newspaper “accused a coalition soldier of raping a woman and wrote that troops can see women naked through their night vision goggles.” (Via Arts Journal.)
