Small press success

Longtime readers may recall my unenthusiastic reaction to Zoe Trope’s memoir. The merits (or lack thereof) of any particular book aside, I’m not such a curmudgeon that I can’t take joy in the success of a small press, including Kevin Sampsell’s Future Tense Books, which was catapulted into the limelight after Sampsell published the Trope memoir in 2001 and HarperCollins put out a longer version last year.
