Russian publishers and literati participate in Frankfurt Book Fair

The Russian publishing industry, according to Mark Landler, is back in business and has chosen the Frankfurt Book Fair for its debut. The fair features “nearly 100 Russian authors” along with agents, publishers and booksellers. Landler says the Russian presence in Frankfurt is indicative of the larger warming of relations between Germany and Russia that has occurred since both countries spoke out against the U.S.-led war on Iraq.
