This weekend a distraught University of Georgia research worker committed suicide at Ground Zero. His family members said he “was very upset about the war in Iraq and President George W. Bush’s re-election.”
As I rode to work on the L train this afternoon, I noticed that someone (Karl Rove?) had posted this solicitation, perhaps seeing an opportunity in the post-election gloom and Ground Zero suicide, over a paid advertisement:
