Now everybody wants to be poet laureate of Queens

In the wake of a Run-DMC member’s bid for the job, amateur poets the city over are dying to serve as poet laureate for the borough of Queens. Nobody wants to be Canada’s poet laureate yet, but maybe they can interest Alanis Morrissette and start a bidding war.
