F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Max Tivoli-like “Benjamin Button” to be adapted for the screen

Responding to my post about F. Scott Fitzgerald’s diaries, Michelle Orange alerts me to this news:

Warner Bros. has joined Paramount to co-finance the long-gestating adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “Benjamin Button.” …. [which] follows an old man who starts aging backward. When he hits 50, he falls in love with a 30-year-old and must come to terms with the situation.”

The full text of Fitzgerald’s “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” is available online.
