Dust off that old copy of Gremlins (the novel)

In the NY Press this week, Jim Knipfel reports that he has been collecting movie novelizations since he “was very young–during what had been a golden age of novelizations, when movies like Squirm and The Car were novelized without question and placed in drugstore racks.” Novelizations seem to be on the rise again, and it’s Knipfel’s heart’s desire to write one of his own. He nearly wept with joy upon discovering not only a forthcoming Freddy vs. Jason novel but that the same author is “about to release his novelization of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre“. (Via TMFTML.)
