Arnold: not such a big man

The folks at Fair Use Press have published an e-book entitled, “Sue Me, Asshole,” in the hopes that Governor Schwarzenegger will do just that. New Yorkish reports that the volume:

features a cover photo of Arnold in the buff, a picture taken in the 70s when the Republican governor was less interested in boring stuff like balancing budgets and a lot more interested in gang bangs at Gold’s Gym in Venice, CA. It isn’t entirely clear what you get for your $1 contribution – the book is 11 pages long and is mostly filled with threatening letters from Arnold’s attorney – but you’ll be supporting the First Amendment and can take some pride in knowing that you’re playing your part in pissing off the bodybuilder-turned-actor-turned-politician. (And you’ll also help offset the praise Arnold is receiving these days from unlikely sources.) But the most entertaining aspect to this plea for attention (and a lawsuit) is that the creator of the e-book, Brian Flemming, actually made a slight adjustment to the photo, which he describes on Daniel Radosh’s blog as the process of “photoshortening.” Yes, you guessed it: Arnold lost a couple of inches where it counts. (If you’re so inclined, you can have a look at the original pic on Radosh’s site to compare.) In Brian’s words: “Arnold can sue me if he wants for misrepresenting his penis. I’d welcome such a lawsuit.”
